PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST & EXHIBIT

The Belview Booster Club is proud to host their 1st annual amateur photography contest.The photos may be either black and white or color.

The themes for the 2015 photo contest are:

"Old":Your photo can be of a tree, a person, or anything that portrays the opposite of youth. An old slice of bread is measured in days, and an old rock is measured in thousands of years, but either one would be suitable for this contest as long as your picture is creative. Photo must be taken in the Belview Area.

The Wheels Go Round And Round:- Interesting photo of anything with wheels. Photos must be taken in the Belview area.

Town and Country:-Photo depicting life on a farm or what it is like to live in town. All photos must be from the Belview area.

Nature: Enjoy a walk out in nature with your camera and capture a photo of the wildlife, landscape, animals or what’s blooming in the Belview area.

Children’s category (12 and under only):

Pets: Artistic and interesting shot of your or someone else’s pet. We’re talking about interesting angles, interesting lighting, interesting situations. Have fun with it!

  • There will be a $10 entry fee per photo. You may enterone photo in each of the categories.
  • All photo images must be either a 5”x7” or 8”x10” and must be framed and/or matted and ready for hanging.
  • All items must be labeled on the back with the photographer’s name, address, category and photograph title.
  • Deadline: Registration form, entry fee and photographs must be received by Friday, September 11, 2015. Registration forms are available on the Belview Booster Club Facebook page, belview.org website and at the Belview City Clerk’s Office.
  • Photographs are to be brought to the Belview City Clerk’s Office at 202 South Main Street, Belview.
  • Photography Exhibit And Awards Program will be held on Old SOD Day,Sept. 19, 2015 at the Belview School at 11:00 a.m..
  • This contest is for amateur photographers only, no professionals.
  • Belview Booster Club assumes no liability for photographs.
  • Each photographer agrees to follow the rules and guidelines as outlined.
  • Each photographer will complete the registration and waiver form
  • There will be awards given for each category.
  • Please do not submit photos from archived collection. All photos are to be taken during the summer of 2015.
