Main job purpose / To manage and develop the education relationships in a geographical area. This will include:
· Development, management and implementation of an annual business plan
· Delivering required KPI targets - Sales (school income), Student Numbers, Quality Standards
· Championing of the Centres Of Excellence initiative
· Working closely with the Volunteer Boards
· Ensuring that volunteers are treated fairly and with respect;
· Ensuring a volunteering environment is created that encourages personal development and job satisfaction.
KEY TASKS
TASKS
· Achieve KPIs through the implementation of a clear plan and review process· Provide monthly progress reports on progress against KPIs
· Manage the delivery of all contracts
· Recruit, train and develop a dynamic team of volunteers
· Raise the profile of Young Enterprise throughout own area
· Assist with the income generation activities by identifying and accessing private and public sector funding
· Champion the Centres of Excellence initiative throughout own area
· Implement volunteer strategies to support regional recruitment of programme volunteers including volunteer training
· Implement initiatives for Volunteer retention
· Work closely with the Volunteer Boards to ensure that a comprehensive, high quality standard is maintained in respect to services provided to our customers
· Provide support and guidance to the Volunteer Boards.
The above tasks are not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the charity and its overall objectives.
SKILLS/ ATTRIBUTES/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE
Essential / A confident self-starter.Experience of developing, implementing and maintaining new systems and processes.
A high level of self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.
Aware of confidentiality and working with sensitive information.
Excellent interpersonal, report writing and presentation skills.
Strong communication, negotiation and teamworking skills.
Evidence of ability to set and achieve targets
Presentation, public speaking, influencing and leadership skills.
A good knowledge and understanding of current education initiatives, practice and thinking as relevant to the work of Young Enterprise.
Confident use of the Internet as well as standard office IT packages.
Extensive experience of working in a sales and service delivery environments
Confidence to work on own initiative with minimum supervision but knowing when to consult with and inform others
Desirable / Experience of working in the charity or not for profit sector.
Experience as a volunteer within a charity or not for profit sector
