Today is All Saint’s Sunday. We remember all members of St. Paul who entered into eternal rest during the past year. They include: Gertrude Overly, David Hails, Rose Cook, Phyllis Rolla, Gertrude Proud, and Bea Frederickson.

It is time to send care packages to our college students! Address labels and boxes are available in the Sunday School Office. Some ideas for things to include in the care packages are non-perishable snacks and candy, gift cards for Wal-Mart or fast food restaurants, school supplies, toiletries, stationary, stamps, etc. Please be sure that they are in the mail before finals…
A Review for the Sexton will be conducted on November 10. Please take time to complete the review form included in today’s bulletin.
Bible Study on Philippians will continue on November 10 & 17 and December 1 at 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Any 4th or 5th Grade Student who is interested in learning to acolyte should please see Pastor Mark. Acolyte training will be held during the Sunday School hour on Sunday, November 13 in the choir loft.
SPY will host a Salad Bar next Sunday, November 13 following the worship service. All proceeds will be used to purchase gifts for Glade Run. A sign-up sheet for the salad bar is in the Sunday School Office.
All youth in grades 6 - 12 are encouraged to attend the Youth Fall Festival on Saturday, November 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Smith Complex in Elderton. Please let Pastor Mark know that you plan to attend. Lunch will be provided and those who are attending may ride with Pastor Mark. The car pool will depart at 8 a.m. and return at 5 p.m.
St. Mary’s Youth Group is sponsoring an All You Can Eat Breakfast Buffet/Flea Market/Craft Show on Sunday, November 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in St. Mary’s Center, Trauger. The cost for Adults is $6.00, children 5-10 years old is $3.00, and children 4 and under are free. Vendors are needed. For information call Laurie (724)423-7396. Please note that the breakfasts have been changed to the second Sunday of the month.
St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church is holding their annual Turkey Bingo on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 1 to 4 p.m. at St. Mary’s Social Hall. Tickets may be purchased at the door. Admission is $5.00. Specials & Quickies Extra. Kitchen will be Open! Doors open at noon.
Excela Health will be hosting a program on November 13 regarding Coping with Grief during the Holidays. It will be held at the 1st Baptist Church in Greensburg near the Pitt Campus from 2-4 p.m. Please contact Sandy Freeman at (724)423-3563 if you are interested in attending.
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Chapter #30723 will be collecting soap products for the Westmoreland County Food Bank that distributes through the Pleasant Unity Methodist Church. Items needed are laundry soap, hand soap, shampoo, etc. A laundry basket is in the Sunday School Office for your donations. Packages will be assembled on Sunday November 13, 2011.
Union Mission – We have received a list of needed items for the men at the Union Mission in Latrobe. A box will be available in the Sunday School office for donations. The last day for donations will be Sunday Dec 11th. Items needed include: Deodorant, Underwear, Razors, Shaving Cream, Towels, Pillows, Socks. Other ways to support Union Mission: Volunteer to lead Bible Study groups, Life Skill Instructors, Transportation, or simply be a Good Neighbor, stopping in and hang out with the men.
