Prospective Donation Form – ASI Collections (Material, Library and Archives)

Thank you for your interest in the Collections of The American Swedish Institute (ASI). ASI reviews all potential donations to ensure consistency with our current collections and our collections policy.

ASI‘s collections include three-dimensional artifacts, artwork, books and manuscripts. In addition to those collections, consideration will continue to be given to acquiring items that directly relate to:

  • Swan and Christina Turnblad, their family and business;
  • the affairs and facilities of the American Swedish Institute;
  • affiliated organizations of the American Swedish Institute; and,
  • select items of high quality and excellent condition that ASI staff identifies as within collecting priorities

For suggestions on donations outside ASI’s focus, we will provide you with additional contacts/organizations that may be more suitable for your donation. MINNESOTA HISTORY
