About us
CRI is a borough-wide drug and alcohol recovery service working with people throughout their treatment journey; from engagement, through to treatment, prescribing to aftercare. CRI offers a wide range of interventions to Barking residents who are over 18 and their families and partners who are experiencing difficulties with drug or alcohol use.
We have two hubs for service users currently using substances. These are based in Barking and Dagenham (see below).St Lukes is a service that works with Alcohol misuse, the Gateway service in Barking works with all substance misuse, the Recovery service is our prescribing team. Both the Recovery and Gateway team are based on the same premises. We try to match volunteers with their preferred base, but cross-site working will be required at time to time from all volunteers. Any expense incurred in this travel will be reimbursed.
