Budget Structure and Allocations
October 5, 2012

Proposed breakdown of Interactive budget

Sony Pictures Interactive will start itemizing its monthly invoices to Film Marketing as follows:

-Baseline support (to be divided between active titles based on fair allocation, exact formula to be determined)

-Title-specific Web Development (actual labor cost itemized by title)

The ratio between the two portions is currently 70% baseline and 30% web development, but future percentage may change based on actual work requests for web development.

Baseline support: proposed definition

“Baseline” represents the day-to-day work done for the Worldwide Digital Marketing group in support of the entire film release slate. This is work that Sony Pictures Interactive does for all campaigns, no matter if an outside vendor is hired or not. It includes the thousands of micro to medium size tasks that span multiple campaigns and are difficult to allocate to one particular campaign due to their nature. It also includes a portion of technology operations and backend development which supports all titles (other divisions covers the other portion, which allows for significant economy of scale savings for Film Marketing).
