Childhood Hunger Relief Act

Section 20 of the Childhood Hunger Relief Act was amended by Public Act 096-0734. This legislation requires a school district to implement a summer lunch program for the duration of the summer school program in all schools in which 50 percent or more of the student population is eligible for free or reduced-priced meals and that have a summer school program. The school must feed the children in the summer school program and open the doors to the community children. Northbrook School will operate a summer program week days from June 14 through July 20 with the exception of July 4. Northbrook will be open for lunch on each of these days from 11:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Eco Meet Results

Congratulations to Ecology Team Members: Jose Guzman, Lacey Johnson, Austin Lipe and Connie Arteaga for placing third in the county at the May 3rd Eco Meet. The top scorer for Northbrook was Connie Arteaga. Adrian Espinoza and Kaine Pizano-Olson were alternates.

2012-2013 Registration

Registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held at Lincoln School on July 30th from 4:00-8:00 and July 31st from 8:00-12:00. If you have not returned your registration packet or paid your fees, you must come to this registration.
