Proceedings: Meeting called to order at 7:08 by Seth Pierce

Vice Presidency: Tabled discussion as it doesn’t impact this month greatly

  • Possibly shift roles around to make it work
  • Patrick willing to switch if someone new has interest in Secretary over VP
  • Do we open the position to the membership and take a vote?
  • Tess studying bylaws to make sure procedure is done properly

Spring League:

  • March 22nd – May 3rd, Seneca Park, 6 Fields, 6:00-dark, open gender policy
  • Seth will oversee both leagues
  • Manny handles Competitive – 62 registrants
  • Solid selection of volunteers from survey as well as Seth’s communication
  • Draft 3/15 6:30pm
  • Registration closes tomorrow at noon – Patrick to announce tonight
  • Notice of being drafted
  • Potentially twitter updates, but e-mails certainly
  • Notice of not being drafted or being moved to beginner’s
  • Charles to handle, Patrick to guide him
  • Charles handles Beginners – 94 registrants
  • Solid list of captains from volunteers and people Charles has contacted
  • Would like prompt and solid communication from captains to teams
  • Sunday email and potential e-mail the day of or recap day after
  • Potential Follow Up survey to be made

Summer League: Tabled discussion with Paul absent

  • Hoping for May 24- Aug 9 (Wednesdays)
  • Any improvements from 4 fields? Any new days?
  • Decision needs to be made by April 11th meeting if possible to get ahead of registration, tentatively set to open April 22nd
  • Patrick is in process of writing up proposals of 400 jerseys for DiscStore & Spin
  • Due April 11th at meeting

Other Business:

  • Disc Design – Ray Yeager
  • Requesting reimbursement of 1181.76 on the order
  • 1215.51 total cost - 30 extra paid out of his pocket

  • Wednesday time, will it ever change days
  • Consistency is key in growth of organization and planning for members and their families. Only reason to change is if Parks can’t accommodate.
  • Can 4 people join a beginner’s team together to help encourage new players
  • We will up the baggage for beginner’s league exclusively to 4 people
  • Other leagues still limited to 2, to help make teams fair
  • Hat Tournament
  • KFC wants to host a tourney and would like help reserving fields
