·  understands that all experiments have a formal risk assessment to which the demonstrator must sign up and work against;

·  understands the purpose of the experiments and the methods to be used to provide feedback;

·  understands the timing for receiving and returning laboratory diaries;

·  understands their responsibility for the handling of students’ marks;

·  understands their course of action in the case of suspected plagiarism;

·  understands the course of action in the case of a substitute being required;

·  understands the course of action in the case of emergency where senior staff are absent from the laboratory.
