WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS ON REVERSE SIDE
Workshop 1BASCIS REVISITED Sunday July 26, 2015
Skill Level:Beginner - Intermediate
This will be a day primarily of techniques, not product, although you will have nice turnings to take home at the end of the day. You’ll start with a 5-minute project so that Richard can determine your skill level. There will be spindle work, end-grain hollowing, face work, and more. As you work through projects you’ll refine shapes and develop your voice (personal style) as you gain insights into the finer points of using gouges, skew chisels, and scrapers. You will learn about common mistakes and how to avoid them.
Workshop 2BOWLSMonday July 27, 2015
