RE: Child Care Sanitation Inspection due date revision

In order to provide Local Public Health Agencies additional time to complete child care sanitation inspections, annual/renewal inspections will now be due by the printed due date on the request for inspection, instead of thirty (30) days prior as indicated in the Participation Agreement. Reinspections are to be conducted within thirty (30) days of the annual/renewal inspection. The revised due dates are effective immediately.
Please ensure all inspections comply with the revised due dates, as any late inspections can interfere with the providers’ licensing status as well as DHSS’s ability to process your reimbursement request. If you have any questions, please contact me at (573) 751-6095 or .
REMINDER:
The Child Care Sanitation Contract for the period of October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2009 will expire soon. Final invoices shall be submitted by October 15, 2009. Any invoices received after October 15, 2009, may not be processed for payment. If you have invoices ready to be submitted, you may submit them now.
