Discussion / Homeowner Hearing
·  Account 139541 – ongoing violation with boat in driveway; homeowner has moved the boat to the side of the home and has satisfied the CCRs. A fine will be assessed immediately if any further violations are
·  There was an extensive conversation about the 23 sets of CCRs and by-laws. We would all love to consolidate the CCRs but the requirements necessary to change are nearly impossible. We can’t get 10% of homes represented at the annual meeting, and at least a majority plus extensive legal work is required for consolidation. We will get updated requirements to do this and explore it for this next year.
Discussion / Financial Reports
·  Greg made the motion to approve the financials as submitted. Jim seconded. Motion passed.
Discussion / February Minutes
·  Jim made the motion to approve the February minutes as submitted. Jon seconded. Motion passed.
Discussion / Pool house renovations
·  Bid for the pool bathrooms has been received by Paintex and will be approximately $15k to: pressure wash, etch, and epoxy paint the bathroom floors; replace thresholds; clean tile walls and floors in showers; repair toilets; replace shower heads and pipe caps; replace broken tiles; pressure wash the exterior of building and touch up paint; paint interior walls, ceiling and trim in both bathrooms; paint metal partitions and replace the screws and clean up hardware; etc; and includes all labor and materials.
·  Jim made the motion to approve the bid. Greg seconded. Motion passed.
·  We will get a timeline for moving forward now that the bid is approved but it will likely start within the next 2 weeks
Discussion / Neighborhood business
·  The tennis court nets were replaced today by a resident for just $376.12 and the courts were pressure washed. We will be getting quotes for the cracks to be filled in and painted and re-striped.
·  Both basketballs that were purchased last season have gone missing; we’ve agreed to replace them with cheap basketballs and if they go missing again, they will not be replaced.
·  AT&T has done a drive through with Jim to point out issues that need to be fixed in the areas that are done. The green paint is done by the city and AT&T cannot remove these. They will pick up all flags for the areas that have been completed and re-patch the poorly done pavement repairs.
·  Regarding commercial vehicles, the board’s lawyer has advised that, since the term can be used for a wide range of vehicles, the board defines commercial vehicles for our neighborhood. Moving forward, this will be defined as a vehicle with weighted or commercial plates. Anything outside of this will be at the board’s discretion. Special permission can be requested of and approved by the board (ie: a 15 passenger van with weighted/commercial plates but is used for personal use and has no advertisement). Consistency and fairness is key.
Discussion / 2016 Yorkshire goals
·  Refurbish bathrooms as noted above
·  Fix up tennis courts as noted above
·  Petition the city to adjust the Avondale/Livingston speed limit to 25 (it is now 35!!)
·  Increase police presence
·  Work on consolidating the CCRs as noted above
Meeting was adjourned at 7:25 pm
