- Attendance and missed work
- You will have 5 days, including your first day back, to hand in all missed homework and/or take missed quizzes/tests. On the 6th day you will receive a zero (0) for any work not made up.
- You will also need to make sure that you get a copy of class notes from the days of your absence.
- Late Arrivals
- Please be on time for class. This means that all students are in their seats with pencils sharpened, homework out, and ready for class.
- Late arrivals disrupt the important instruction during the first few minutes of class.
- Thank you in advance for your cooperation, our time together is limited, so wasting even a minute or 2 while repeating directions for late comers is just that, wasteful time.
- Homework (reinforces what has been taught during the day)
- Due on the next class meeting.
- Homework will be taken late by one day, but it will be 65% of the grade. Homework not turned in will receive a zero (0).
- Homework that requires work to be shown needs to be done on loose leaf paper, if not enough room on the paper.
- Must be done in pencil.
- Behavior
- Should be respectful to me and the others in the classroom during the lesson.
- If a student causes too many disruptions during the class, they will be given a detention. If this disruption continues, they will be removed from the class and an office referral will be written.
- Tests and Quizzes
- It is the student’s responsibility to tell parents of up coming quizzes and tests.
- Students are expected to study and prepare for the quizzes and tests.
- Extra Help
- It is the responsibility of the student to come for extra help. I’m available during pre session and lunch.
- The time go get help is not after the student has already failed the exam.
- Failure is preventable if the student uses all of resources that are available to them.
- Communication
- Please feel free to contact me via email ()
