Village President Richard Ensslin called the Board Meeting to order at 7:30 PM at the Village Hall Building.

Present: Richard Ensslin, Teri Stegemeyer, Robert Ward, Walter Woloszyk, Carol Zuba, Tim Nelson, William Benjamin, Village Administrator Rhode and Police Chief Cosgrove.

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES:
Motion by T. Stegemeyer, second by R. Ward to approve the minutes of the April 3, 2007 Board Meeting. Motion carried 7-0. Ensslin, Zuba, Benjamin Abstained.

(A) Finance Committee – Trustee Stegemeyer
Present: Stegemeyer, Benjamin and Zuba

Motion by T. Stegemeyer to approve the bills as presented for $169,104.26; second by C. Zuba. Motion carried 7-0.
Motion by T. Stegemeyer to approve March statement of Revenue and Expenses; second by C. Zuba. Motion carried 7-0.
(C) Building Board – Trustee Woloszyk
Present: Nelson, Ward and Woloszyk, also present Administrator Rhode, Landcraft Development Team.
Excused:
Motion by Ward to approves sign permit located at 12400 W. Hampton Ave for Electronic Message Center; second by Nelson. Motion carried 3-0.
Motion by Ward to approve Accessory Building (shed) located at 12729 W. Glendale Ave; second by Nelson. Motion carried 3-0.
Motion by Nelson to approve Fencing for Packerland (dumpsters) at 12580 W. Rohr Ave; second by Ward 3-0.
Motion by Nelson to provide Preliminary approval to the architectural and site plan
for Evergreen Fuel Stop and Mini Mart at 124th and Arden with additions of green space and removal of entry way located on Arden with future consideration for landscape, sign and lighting Plans; second by Ward. Motion carried 3-0.
(D) Library Board – Trustee Ward
We are in Library week this week. The Friends of the Butler Library had a fundraiser night with the Pulvermachers to raise money for the new Library.
REPORT OF THE ADMINISTRATOR
Update on Development at 124th and Ruby.
Update on Butler Skateland Hearings should be set Wednesday April 18, 2007.
Zoning Board of Appeals met April 13th and denied a variance for the Brucker property located on 132nd Street.

(A) Motion by T. Stegemeyer; second by T. Nelson to grant a Temporary Bartender’s License for Tina Brechlin. Motion carried 7-0.
(B) Motion by R. Ward; second by W. Woloszyk to approve Application for a Temporary Class “B”/ Class “B” Retailer’s License for St. Agnes School. Motion carried 7-0.
(C) Motion by T. Stegemeyer to approve Resolution 07-05 thanking William Geiger for services to the Village of Butler; second by C. Zuba. Motion carried 7-0. William Benjamin abstained.
(D) Motion by R. Ward to approve Resolution 07-06 thanking Gerald Paasch for services to the Village of Butler; second by T. Stegemeyer. Motion carried 7-0. William Benjamin abstained.
(E) Motion by C. Zuba to approve Resolution 07-07 thanking John Ehlinger for services to the Village of Butler; second by T. Stegemeyer. Motion carried 7-0. William Benjamin abstained.
