ESM 102 is a preparation and introduction to topics in statistics.
ESM 151 is a GE course in College Algebra.
MAT 195 (summer) is a short course intended to help students place into calculus.
MAT 195 (fall) will be piloted as a new, enhanced preparation for studentsnot ready for calculus.
MAT 153 is an existing precalculus course, and MAT 191-MAT 193 are the first two terms of the existing calculus sequence.
MAT 131 and MAT 132 are courses in introductory statistics, with MAT 132 offering additional instructional time and Supplemental Instruction supports.
Courses ESM 102, ESM 151, MAT 132, MAT 153, MAT 195 are all supported with Supplemental Instruction, which includes the SI leader assisting during class and holding an additional weekly workshop. Additional interventions are being planned to support struggling Early Start students.
