China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd (in short: China Construction; Stock code: 601668), formally established on December 10, 2007, was co-initiated by four Fortune Global 500 enterprises: China State Construction Engineering Corp. (CSCEC), China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Baosteel Group Corporation Ltd and Sinochem Corporation. China Construction was successfully listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange on July 29, 2009.China Construction has inherited all superior assets and corporate culture of CSCEC, with its business covering housing construction, international contracting, real estate development and investment, infrastructure construction and investment, prospecting and design.
China Construction is China’s largest construction and real estate conglomerate and biggest building work contractor. It is the largest transnational construction company in the developing countries and the top home builder in the world, taking the long lead of China’s international contracting business. China Construction is one of the most integrated construction and real estate conglomerates in China with the longest history of specialized operation and market-oriented management. It is the only construction enterprise in China certified for 3 top grade Qualifications of general contracting for building works, municipal public works and highway works, in addition to “1+4” qualifications and first-grade qualification for engineering design of building industry.
China Construction always regards scientific management and scientific and technical progressing as the engines for its sustainable development. By the end of 2012, it has won 58 State Scientific and Technological Progress Awards and 33 Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize. It owns 141 National Construction Methods and 2721 authorized patents, of which, 230 patents being of invention. 2.China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Company
China Coal Technology and Engineering Group Corp. (here-in-after referred as CCTEG) is directly managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.CCTEG is mainly dealing with drilling exploration and survey of coal field, Feasibility study and Design of coal mines and coal washing plant, Consultant, R&D and manufacturing of mining and safety equipment, Construction supervision, Project operation and Maintenance and Project Turn-key services in the industrial fields of coal mine (open-pit coal mine and underground coal mine), coal washing plant, coal chemical, clean coal technology and engineering service and so on. CCTEG is covering the whole chain of all business in the coal industry and is the only comprehensive R&D, EPC and manufacturing enterprise group in world coal industry. CCTEG is also one of the 32 A class state-owned enterprise in China.
With the strongest strength, advanced technology and highest market share in China, CCTEG has provided engineering service to more than 80% of the scaled underground coal mines and 98% of scaled open-pit coal mines and coal washing plants in China.

3.China Communications Construction Company Limited
China Communications Construction Company Limited (“CCCC” or the “Company”), initiated and founded by China Communications Construction Group (“CCCG”), was incorporated on 8 October 2006. Its H shares were listed on the Main Board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange with stock code of 1800.HK on 15 December 2006. The Company (including all of its subsidiaries except where the content otherwise requires) is the first large state-owned transportation infrastructure group entering the overseas capital market. As at 31 December 2009, CCCC has 112,719 employees and total asset of RMB267,900 million (in accordance with PRC GAAP). Among 127 central enterprises governed by SASAC, CCCC ranked No.12 in revenue and No.14 in profit for the year.The Company and its subsidiaries (collectively, the “Group”) are principally engaged in the design and construction of transportation infrastructure, dredging and heavy machinery manufacturing business. It covers the following business aspects: port, terminal, road, bridge, railway, tunnel, civil work design and construction, capital dredging and reclamation dredging, container crane, heavy marine machinery, large steel structure and road machinery manufacturing, and international project contracting, import and export trading services. 4.China International Water & Electric Corporation
China International Water & Electric Corporation (CWE in abbreviation), is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) and the earliest state-owned enterprise in Chinese hydropower industry to participate in international economic cooperation. The present company name was adopted in 1983; nevertheless, the history of CWE traces back to more than half a century ago when it was a foreign aid unit within the Ministry of Water Conservancy and Electric Power of P. R. China.Nowadays, CWE has been acknowledged as a famous brand in fields of international contracting and small-to-medium hydropower investment. Many a project undertaken or developed by CWE was imprinted in the world’s water and hydropower construction history, among which there are dams symbolizing friendships between nations, projects hailed as “Three Gorges” in the project-host countries, and large scale hydraulic complexes regarded as beacons of international cooperation.
With prominent achievements in its main business of water and hydropower and rich experience in other infrastructure projects including transmission and transformation, roads and bridges, port dredging, etc., CWE is wining more large scale EPC projects and steadily developing investment projects. 5.China Machinery Engineering Corporation
China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) was built on its predecessor China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation through an overall reorganization. On December 21st, 2012, CMEC was listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.Founded in 1978, CMEC is the first large engineering & trade company in China, in which China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH) now has a controlling stake.
