Originated by LEA Adviser / Gifted and Talented Summer Schools to run in partnership with Bournemouth University, Active Sports, Sports Colleges and LEA from Summer 2003 / All schools provide exit routes for the gifted and talented / We have 35 Yr6 pupils attending this Summer. 4th year. Next year SSCO’s will go round the Yr6’s and undertake the selection for the Summer School and G & T programme

Swimming Development Officer / Strategy implemented 2006 / All KS2 pupils have equal opportunities to develop swimming skills for 16 – 24 hours (see swimming strategy) / Pilot commences September 2005. Schools agreed an SLA with Leisure Services to organise swim provision as specified in DFES Charter. Quality assured by PE Adviser
