3rd ANNUAL NORWIN FOOTBALL LINEMAN CHALLENGE

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend our THIRD annual Norwin Football Lineman Challenge! The past 2 years lineman challenge have been a huge success and we are looking forward to making this year even better! Last year we were able to have2 Pittsburgh Steelers: offensive linemen Chris Hubbard and BJ Finney. We are working on having both players return this year and possibly other lineman as well . The event is designed to help improve our offensive and defensive linemen in preparation for the 2017 football season as well as to provide our linemen a competitive opportunity specifically designed for their skill sets. The event is organized into 3 phases:
(1) D-Line and O-Line drills lead by guest coaches (Pittsburgh Steelers and/or college line coaches) (approx. 1 hour: approx. 30 min DL and 30 min OL)
(2) Team competition: linemen from each team will compete against all other teams in 6 events [Plate relay, Tire flip relay, med-ball toss, plate hold, obstacle course relay and tug-o-war]. (approx. 1.5 hours)
(3) Finisher: the finisher will include closing remarks from guest coaches, recognition of the winning team, AND a pig roast for all linemen and coaches! What a better way to FINISH for our “Hogs”! (hot dogs, kielbasa and cole slaw will be included with the pig roast).
The entry fee for the event is $130 per Team and will include a t-shirt for each lineman as well as the pig roast. Your team must consist of a minimum of 8 linemen and a maximum of 10 linemen grades 10 thru 12 for the 2017 season. Gatorade and water will also be provided throughout the day.
