Allahabad Bank invites applications from experienced Architects/ Architectural firms for empanelment of Architect for providing consultancy services for construction of building for its Zonal office & Civil line Branch on Bank’s Plot at Civil Lines, Gorakhpur. Estimated cost of the project is Rs. 200 Lacs (approx).

NOTICE FOR INVITING APPLICATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION OF ARCHITECTS /ARCHITECTURAL FIRMS

The Bank invite pre-qualification application from reputed & experienced Architects/Architectural firms including PSUs and Government agencies for providing consultancy for planning Designing and supervision of construction of building for its Zonal office & Civil Lines Branch on plot at Civil Lines, Gorakhpur. Estimated cost of the project is Rs.200 Lacs (approx). The firm should have experience in planning, designing, supervision of office/residential buildings as per following eligibility criteria.
Details of work :
Planning, designing & supervision of construction of building for its Zonal office and Civil lines Branch on Bank’s Plot of land at Civil Lines, Gorakhpur as per byelaws of Local Authority.
The scope of work includes planning, designing, getting approvals from concerned authorities, preparation of tender documents, Pre-qualification of contractors, recommendations on tenders approved along with supervision of work, checking of bills etc.
Reputed Firms including PSUs and Govt. Agencies who have successfully executed similar types of works as stated above may apply for pre-qualification provided they satisfy the terms & conditions as stipulated hereunder.
1. Basic criteria for pre-qualification of Architectural Firms :
1. Intending Architects/Architectural firms who presently work with Government/PSUs/financial institutions/Banks, reputed corporate etc. and having at least seven years of experience in Architectural field, as on 30.06.2013.
2. Intending Architects or Architects of Architectural firms are to be Graduate/Post graduate Diploma in Architecture either from India or abroad.
3. Member of the Indian Institute of Architect /Council of Architect.
4. Architects/Architectural firms should have successfully completed similar type of works of following magnitude during 01.06.2007 to 31.06.2013
i) One similar works each costing not less than Rs 160 Lacs.
OR
ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 100 Lacs.
OR
iii) Three similar works each cost not less than 80 Lacs
5. Intending firm must have qualified and experienced personnel, Architects, Engineers both civil and electrical engineering, technical know how, establishment, plant/ equipment to complete the project well in time.
2. The interested Firms may apply in the prescribed format (as per Annexure I)
The eligible Architectural firms may obtain prescribed format from: Bank’s Zonal Office, Property Department at : Mohaddipur Kashya Road, P.O-Kuraghat, Dist.-Gorakhpur, during working hours (from 10 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Friday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday)

The prescribed format duly filled in with all necessary particulars as stated in the prescribed format along with attested copies of certificates / credentials regarding jobs undertaken at various organisations should be submitted in a sealed cover superscribing “Pre-qualification of Architects/Architectural Firms for construction of building for its Zonal office & Civil line Branch on Bank’s Plot at Civil Lines, Gorakhpur” at the following address on or before 03.10.2013 up to 3.00 P.M. Applications will be opened on next working day at 3.00 PM

1. Selection will be made based on particulars and documents furnished by the applicant as required and satisfactory verification carried out by the Bank. Incomplete information in the application will lead to summarily rejection. If any information furnished by the applicant is found incorrect at a later stage, they shall be liable to be debarred from tendering / taking up the work. Allahabad Bank reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently.
- Selection of firms will be restricted to those considered eligible from the applicants and no further press notice in this regard will be issued. Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
- For any other clarification, intending agencies may contact at the above mentioned address before the last date of submission during working hours as mentioned above.
- Incomplete applications and applications not filled properly with requisite details are liable for rejection and Bank will not entertain any further communication in such cases.
