Read BARD Books on Your Apex
_____ Go to: https://nlsbard.loc.gov/login//NLS
Your student must be a member of BARD to download the available audio or braille books. You can register from the above link.
Log in with your user e-mail address and password.
_____ Click “update account settings”.
_____ Click the “add a purchased player” link.
_____ Fill out the information to ensure your address is correct. Select the player you will be adding from the list.
______Click “submit player request”.
______You will be e-mailed when your request is varified.
_____ Your will get an initial e-mail saying they are working on the process.
You will get an e-mail from HumanWare. Follow the instructions in the e-mail.
Register the Apex on line.
Click the Submit button after you fill out the information.
Wait for continued instructions.
Follow insturctions in the e-mail you receive. This will involve putting a small file on the Apex.
