TITLE: / GolfMark Co-ordinator
[Fixed term contract until March 2014. Self-employed]
RESPONSIBLE TO: / England Golf Regional Development Officer
RESPONSIBLE FOR: / Implementation of the GolfMark and RangeMark targets as defined within the Leicestershire & Rutland Operational Plan.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: / County Development Officer

England Golf Regional Development Officer
England Golf Development Department
Affiliated golf clubs
Professionals, Volunteers, Secretaries and Managers.
WORKING HOURS: / Working hours by agreement based on 2 days per week. Weekend and evening work may be necessary.
LOCATION: / Working from home.
Required to travel as necessary to meetings within the county and to visit England Golf headquarters as required.
JOB SUMMARY:
·  To market, promote and administer GolfMark and RangeMark accreditation to clubs and golf facilities across the two counties (Leicestershire & Rutland).
·  To implement and review GolfMark and RangeMark standards at a grass-roots level within Leicestershire & Rutland.
·  To promote the aims and objectives of the Leicestershire & Rutland County Golf Partnership to clubs and golf facilities working towards national accreditation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
·  To encourage affiliated golf clubs to sign up to GolfMark and ranges to sign up to RangeMark; providing ongoing support to ensure that they actively work towards the accreditation.
·  To meet GolfMark and RangeMark targets based on the Leicestershire & Rutland County Golf Partnership Operational Plan.
·  To utilise GolfMark as a development tool, to encourage players into golf club membership, helping to sustain regular participation.
·  To regularly communicate with the Leicestershire & Rutland County Development Officer on the progress towards achieving GolfMark and RangeMark targets and the impact of best practice examples.
·  To seek out examples of good practice within golf clubs and publicise such examples via the CGP and GolfMark web-sites, local and regional press.
·  To provide reports as requested by the Steering Group, Regional and County Development Officers on all GolfMark and RangeMark issues within the county.
·  To keep the Regional Development Officer advised of their itinerary on a regular basis and adhere to the set reporting structure, including attending County Golf Partnership meetings, as required.
·  To work closely with the County Development Officer to ensure that GolfMark and RangeMark work complements other partnership activity in line with the County Development Plan.
·  To perform other duties as deemed appropriate by the County Golf Partnership.
