Remuneration: SCHADS Award Level 4, paypoint 1

The Physical Disability Council of NSW (PDCN) is the peak representative organisation of and for, people with physical disability across New South Wales. The Council has a majority of people with physical disability in its membership, its governance and employees. It is also a not-for-profit, non-government organisation.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic person who is a team player, with a passion for communityengagement and inclusion to oversee the administration of all areas of the NDIS Ready Project. The Project Officer will manage the administration of all areas of the funded NDIS Ready workshop project, providing operational support including the coordination of facilitators, venues, accommodation and travel arrangements, educational materials and resources, promotion of NDIS Ready workshops and data collection and post course evaluation.

Duties and responsibilities;

  1. Oversee, support and book facilitators for NDIS Ready educational workshops
  2. Locate and book venues, catering, accommodation and travel requirements for workshop facilitators and participants
  3. Promote workshops
  4. Ensure online booking system is maintained and payments processed
  5. Reporting and evaluation responsibilities to PDCN Executive Officer and NDIS Ready Program funder
  6. General administrative tasks associated with NDIS ready program and educational workshops
  7. Where required represent PDCN by attending meetings, forums etc with stakeholders and other organisations
  8. Answer phone fax and email enquiries
  9. Assist in social media and other educational promotion
  10. Support other team member projects and duties as identified by Executive Officer

Essential criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in an administration role, preferably for a complex program or project
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in using Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of people
  • Attention to detail and strong problem solving skills
  • Experience coordinating travel and other logistics
  • Team player

Desirable criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in administration, education or project management
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM systems
