This is to let you know about our breakfast and lunch program here at Lakeland Regional High School.
We are a member of Team Nutrition with the N.J.D.A. Child Nutrition Program and continually strive to put out a fully nutritional selection for all our students tastes.
Hot and cold breakfast is available every morning beginning at 7:00 a.m. until the school bell rings. A full breakfast is $2.50 and consists of the following:
1 Hot or cold Entrée (such as an Egg Sandwich, Bagel, Roll, Muffin, Cereal…)
1 Fruit cup, fresh fruit, or juice cup (any variety)
AND
1- half pint Milk
The Price for a Full Lunch is $4.00 and consists of the following:
1 Hot or Cold Entrée which includes either the Hot Special of the day, Hoagie, Ham Sandwich, Turkey Sandwich, Salami Sandwich, Tunafish Sandwich, Egg salad Sandwich, Chef salad platter, Garden Salad Platter, Tuna Salad Platter (all sandwiches come with or without cheese, lettuce, tomato or onion and are served on a choice of rye bread, whole wheat bread, whole grain bread or roll.)
2 Choices from the Fruit and Vegetable group which includes the hot potato of the
day(baked, mashed, tater tots, hash brown), the hot vegetable of the day (corn, broccoli, mixed, carrots, peas, zucchini, cauliflower, green beans…), any of the cold salad cups (coleslaw, potato salad, 3 bean salad, tossed salad, carrot & celery sticks,), assorted varieties of fruit cups, fresh fruit, Jell-O or 4 ounce orange juice, apple juice or grape juice.
AND 1 Choice of Milk (Half-Pint)
There is a wide variety of healthy ala carte items as well. (soup, low fat ice cream, chips, snacks, beverages… ) all within the health and wellness guidelines.
You may open a prepaid lunch account if desired. Just send a check payable to Lakeland Regional High School Cafeteria in the amount you think would cover your child for at least a week. You may send it by mail (please send it to my attention, Mary Scalera/Cafeteria) or simply send it with your son/daughter and they may hand it right to the cashier. Please put students name on the check. Email to check your balance.
If a student qualified for free or reduced priced lunch during the 2014-2015 school year, it remains in effect until September 30th. Please get new applications in as soon as possible to assure there is no lapse in service for your child after September 30th.
The menu runs on a 5 week plan and is available on this website for you to print.

WHEN FILLING OUT THE FREE/REDUCED APPLICATIONS.
RINGWOOD SCHOOLS, WANAQUE SCHOOLS AND LAKELAND REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL ARE ALL UNDER SEPRATE BOARDS OF EDUCATION AND ARE NOT ONE DISTRICT. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN GOING TO DIFFERENT SCHOOLS IN THIS AREA, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FOR EACH SCHOOL YOUR CHILDREN ATTEND AS NOT TO DELAY APPROVAL FOR FREE OR REDUCED LUNCHES.
