President’s Introduction: Mark Koon:
Welcome. Motorcycle deaths are up. Last year there were 43, this year 60 so far. In WI it is up 8 at 78 deaths. Sign up in the spring for Rider’s Education classes. You are reimbursed fee with your 3 year membership.
*November 21st- Volunteer Appreciation Party at the Gas Lite. It is a potluck, so bring a dish to share. Free beer, cash bar. Starts at 5:00-? Door prizes from Miller. We are collecting for Toys for Tots.
*We are collecting for Toy for Tots. Hopefully we can get a lot of gifts, because we could be on KARE 11
* November 28th- Deck the Falls, in Cannon Falls. We will be participating in a parade at 5:00. It is an all- day event, so Contact Susie Maher for details.
* December 13th- Next General Meeting 12:00 American Legion St. Paul Park.
* December 19th- Children’s Christmas Party at the American Legion in St. Paul Park. It is 12-3pm, but help is needed before to set up and after to clean up.
* February 13th 2016- Mid Winter Party at the Cottage Grove VFW. Music by the Brian Naughton Band.
* April 30th 2016- Fury Open House
AIL- Insurance for our SCVR members will be sending out a card in January. It is free for current members. Please put Do Not Contact on return card.
Secretary’s Report: Julie Rice
Meeting minutes are on the tables. Motion was made to waive reading of the minutes and approve as written. There was a second to the motion, it was voted on and approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Beth Franz
The financials are on the table. There is very little to report. CF invoices are finally cleared. Available Funds: Oct 1-$90,741 and on Nov 1-$71, 812. There was a motion to accept the Treasurer’s report as given. There was a second to the motion, it was voted on and approved.
Merchandise Report: Michelle Moreno/ Wendy Holland
We have a clearance table of $5 RBR and Chili Feed 2104 shirts. There are some items 50% off or $10 off. Great Christmas presents. We need to clear out this old merchandise to make room for new. Available at the December meeting.
Membership: Judy Gebhardt:
We are down 1 member from last year at this time. Norm is still ahead with 26referrals. We are at 1161 members.
Rider’s Education: Ron Lischeid:
He booked an Accident Scene Management class. It is $70 per person, but the more people who attend the cheaper the price. He thought Feb 12th and 13th, for the Mid-Winter Party would be good.
Dial-A-Ride is over for the season.
Road Captain: Randy Holland:
I am officially done as Road Captain. I need someone to take over ASAP. Be aware out there. T-CLOCS everyone!!
MN Legislative Report: Shane Murphy:
They are in recess until March 8th 2016. John Kline is stepping down. The MN Capitol is under renovation, so there will not be a Biker Day.
WI Legislative Report: Dan Hren:
March 15, 2016 will be Biker Day in Madison. There are some bills regarding dirt bikes, 74- 470 Off-Highway Bikes and an Auto Cycling licensing. More info as session will come next year.

Adopt-A-Highway: Julie Rice:
Thanks to Susie and Randy and Wendy and everyone who took over the clean up when I was gone. There were 15 people who helped clean our road area. They were rewarded with pizza and beer afterwards. There was a lot of sunshine and a nice riding day, so thanks for volunteering. Next clean- up will be in May 2016

Mike Classen is dealing with a traumatic injury. Card and gift card sent. He will be having surgery.
MRF: Beth Franz:
I have good news, a bill was passed, and there is an end to the federal funding of motorcycle-only checkpoints, a top priority of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation. More info is on the SCVR Facebook page.
Old Business:
SCVR received a Certificate of Recognition from the MRF.
Ron had a ?: How is the Road Guard doing? Mark- Nothing was brought to the Safety Board….there were 400 people who were certified.
Mark- Randy and John K, and myself, did a rumble strip test drive. We liked the one that was loud and didn’t make the bike get thrown.
New Business:
$500 for trailer tires.
Linden Marty was selling tire mirrors for $50

There were 4 ABATE signs and 4 Solar dancing flowers for a drawing..congrats to Jay, Patti and Joe, and Chuck for the signs and Beth, Therese, Judy and Chuck for the flowers.
