Retail Tips
#1 – Jane Stratton (Designer) and Crystal Wyss (One Diamond Designer) both use RED on their tables because this color encourages impulse buying. Look for some red cloth or accents for your table!
#2 – Sandy Pressler (Designer) and Allison Wiers (One Diamond Designer) both offer gift buying specials to their guests. Here are two examples: When you buy 2 items you will receive the 3rd at 30% off. Sandy had women buying 6 & 9 items in order to get more discounts! You can also offer some of our great $20-$25 gifts for $12-$15 when the customer purchases 3 or more items. When using this special make sure you are featuring the items you are discounting!
#3 – Angie Kinne (Designer) uses a special wishlist for her guests to fill out that she can then send to a friend/family member to let them know what their special gal wants! What a brilliant way to get her name out and accumulate more orders outside her shows! Her wishlist and letter she uses with it can be found at
#4 – kathi Pfahl (5 Diamond Designer) and Allison Wiers give everyone who brings their Christmas shopping list an extra ticket / Diva Dollar! These ladies will buy lots when shopping for themselves AND their friends and family!
Booking Ideas
#1 – Jane Stratton offers prospective hostesses a SHOW TO GO! She purchases brownies (on sale of course), cider spices, a bag of pretzels, Christmas plates and napkins from the Dollar Store and wraps it in cellophane. She takes 3 with her to her shows starting in September to get bookings for November and December. The first 3 bookings get a “SHOW TO GO”! They just need some coffee. This is a great idea to keep it simple for our hostesses!
#2 – Crystal Wyss tells all of her December hostesses that they will be in a drawing after her last show is held. She determines the size of the gift by the number of shows she holds. If you have specific questions regarding this idea please ask Crystal!
#3 – Use whatever promotion Premier is running during that time to increase your bookings!
Sponsoring Tip
#1 – Sandy Pressler stresses the idea of a DEBT FREE CHRISTMAS when doing her sponsoring talk. Who wouldn’t love to pay cash for all their Christmas gifts. NOW is the time to start talking about that!
Just Plain Fun!
#1 – Angie uses a Christmas version of her wishlist for guests. Once it’s filled out it doubles as a Bingo sheet and someone will win a prize. She calls out the names of some of the pieces she’s shown and the ladies cross them off. The first to get 3 in a row wins! It’s called Ho-Ho-Ho 3 in a Row!
#2 – Kathi starts playing Christmas music at her shows in September. This helps set the mood and create a really fun atmosphere for the show.
