•Analysis of title opinions, oil and gas leases, broker reports, curative, well and

regulatory documents, conveyances, probate and heirship data and other legal

documents.

•In depth understanding of oil, gas and mineral laws in various states and affiliated

oil and gas leases deeds, and title curative documents.

•Accountable for land and records research and analysis, title search and reports.

•Analyzed parcel descriptions and land documents, such as court judgement records,

pending cases, liens, loans, plats and surveys, easements, restrictions, real estate

taxes, and assessor’s records, as well as identifying and obtaining pertinent copies

and completing a report/summary for each search regarding title and oil and gas

leases as well as reviewing deeds to determine ownership and legal description.

•Managed a small team of subcontractors by directing and monitoring their work,

and taking corrective action when necessary. Handed out priority parcels to title

agents along with all available maps and well data. Kept track of all assigned title

tasks.

•Reviewed and corrected title reports for accuracy Responsible for mineral ownership

examination for 150+ years for WV including courthouse research, title examination

troubleshooting difficult title problems and curing title defects, with an emphasis on

title, royalty owners and working interest.

•Recorded legal documents in the Clerk and Recorders office.

•Researched documents, maps and legal documents by Section, Township Range.

•As Deputy Treasurer, collected and distributed tax revenue.

•Bank reconciliation of all bank accounts associated with Garfield County on a

monthly Basis (approximately 27 accounts).

This job was extremely detail-oriented with no margin for error and met deadlines on a regular basis. The government program that we used was New World Systems.

•Accounting for approximately 40 companies.

This was an accounting firm who did bookkeeping for a multitude of different businesses. I was in charge of all aspects of the accounting from payroll to year end adjusting entries.

1998/2001 Alpine Bank –Loan Processor

•Was part of a team which started the centralized loan processing department for

all Alpine Banks in Colorado.

•Created loan documents for commercial and personal loans for 25 bank locations.

This was a new department that was created to centralize all loan processing systems for Colorado. This position was always a learning experience, with constant changes and new ideas to make our department effective and productive.
