Life Group Leader Application

Life Group Leaders has the privilege to facilitate discussions that lead others into a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As a group leader you will be an extension of the leadership of Life Fellowship.

All accepted applicants will undergo a time of testing, the testing period consist of being under the mentorship of one of the established leaders for one semester. During the

semester, the applicant will facilitate the group a minimum of three times. At the end of the semester the mentor will make a recommendation to the leadership concerning the applicant. If approved, the applicant will facilitate their own group the following semester.

Prerequisites:

Accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Regular attendance of weekend services.

Completed Starting Point class.

Member of a Life Group for a minimum of one semester.

Tithingmember of Life Fellowship.

Embracing the Vision, Virtues and Values of Life Fellowship.

Submits to the leadership of Life Fellowship.

Group Leader Responsibilities:

Devote 2 to 3 hours a week preparing for the Group.

Devote time to pray for the Life Group.

Attend leaders meetings.

Promptly start the Group at the determined time and hold to the determine time.

Work with the Host Home Hostess on the developing and maintaining the structure of the Group.

Be innovated in drawing member into discussions.

Lead the group in prayer.

Always remember that the Holy Spirit is the true leader of the Group.
