Saturday, May 12

A morning departure from New London and Old Saybrook by motorcoach to Newark airport for our flight on Continental Airlines to Lima where we will be met and transferred to our hotel.

Sunday, May 13 Arrive in Lima, Peru

This afternoon, your vacation begins with a special visit to the Casa Diez Canseco, the private home of the Diez Cancesco family. Savor a home-cooked Peruvian meal before heading out for a city tour. Visit the Church of San Francisco, with its unique wooden cupola over the imperial staircase. Return to the hotel, where the evening is free. (B,L)

Monday, May 14 – Lima-Cuzco-Sacred Valley

Fly to Cuzco. Upon arrival, head into the Sacred Valley. Stop at the Pisac Market, where there is time to bargain for Peruvian handicrafts. Then continue on to Ollantaytambo, a typical little Inca community. There is time to admire the ruins and the town before dinner at our hotel. (B, D)

Tuesday, May 15 – Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu

Transfer to the train station for our Vistadome Valley train journey to Machu Picchu. ‘The Lost City of the Incas” was built about 1450 and abandoned 100 years later. You will have time to explore the ruins on your own after a guided walking tour. (B, D)

Note: On the train to Machu Picchu, only hand luggage can be taken. Your main suitcase will be transferred to Cuzco and stored.

Wednesday, May 16 – Machu Picchu – Cuzco

Return to Machu Picchu for last impressions of the magnificent ruins. Later, travel by train and coach to Cuzco. (B)

Thursday, May 17 – Cuzco

Cuzco is a city enveloped in myth and legend. Traces of its Incan and Spanish heritage can still be seen today. A morning city tour shows you Cuzco’s most important landmarks, including the Inca street of Loreto, which is made of 12 cornered stones, the Temple of Sun called Ahuajpinta and the Cathedral. Continue on to visit the Inca ruins of Sacsayhuaman, the shrines of Kenqo Tambomachay and more. The afternoon is free. Tonight, relish a Farewell Dinner and folklore show. (B, D)

Friday, May 18 – Cuzco – Lima

Transfer to the airport for our flight to Lima. The balance of the day is free. (B)

Saturday, May 19 – Depart Lima

We are transferred to the airport for our flight to Newark where our motorcoach awaits to return us to CT. (B)

responsible for arranging and providing all services and accommodations offered in connection with this trip. However, in no cases does KTI own, operate

or control any of the firms or vendors which will provide goods and services for the trip (hotels, air or land transportation, meals, etc.) or for any option which

may be available (optional side trips, car rentals, etc) KTI has not priced the trip or option to allow KTI to guarantee against the failure or negligence of any

such firms. Hotel rooms are reserved on a first come, first served basis. KTI has no control over how specific rooms are assigned. While hotels are asked to

take into account special room requests. KTI cannot guarantee any requests for type of bedding, views, etc. since it is not within control to do so. Each

participant agrees to seek redress or remedies directly with the supplier and not to hold KTI liable in the absense of its negligence which results directly or

indirectly from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise of (1) which any entity which is to or doesn’t provide goods or services for the trip or any

available option (e.g. the quality of services, cleanliness of a hotel, beach, sightseeing attraction, ship, aircraft, bus or any other conveyances, quality of food

problems regarding needs or animals, damaged, lost or delayed luggage, hotel overbooking (flight delays, labor unrest, acts of criminals or terrorism, etc)

or any other third party Each participant also agrees not to hold KTI liable for circumstances beyond its control (mechanical failures, strikes, etc.)

or for acts of God (weather, natural disasters,etc) Each participant acknowledges that neither KTI nor its agents have made any representation or promise

with respect to the arrangements described except as expressly setforth in KTI’s literature, unless such agreement is in writing and signed by an officer of

KTI. KTI reserves the right to decline, for any lawful reason, to accept or retain any person as a participant on a trip (or option), whereupon KTI’s only

obligation shall be to refund to such person that portion or payment allowable to the unused services.
