Other Business Discussion Amerigroup Managed Care Organization MCO, appears to be providing clients with cheap, subpar breastpumps, such as Nature’s Bond & Evenflo. Edgepark is a commonly-used local DME. Want to make a new posterboard to showcaseTCoBCo at public venues. Want to form a Recognition Committee for Breastfeeding-Friendly businesses. Shannon discovered the Market Emporium, a business in Burleson that displays the international bf logo on its front window. Churches & businesses could be awarded framed declarations such as “Babies are Ft Worth it.” Need to educate the public, targeting public & charter schools, in response to new laws that support bfing public employees who are salaried, in addition to the hourly-paid. Tarrant county was the FIRST Mother-Friendly (worksite) county in the state; now all public agencies have to follow suit as a result of the new law. Could buy & sponsor “mother” privacy pop-up tents for placement in the public, in which moms can nurse their babies, &/orexpress their breastmilk as desired.
