PHILANTHROPIC INCUBATOR MATCHING GRANTS
The Charles T. Beaird Foundation matches donations made by its Third Generation Members to nonprofit organizations of their choices. For financial contributions, the Foundation matches dollar-for-dollar. For documented contributions of volunteer time, the Foundation matches at the rate of $15 per hour (e.g. 10 hours of volunteer time given to a nonprofit organization, documented by the organization, would generate a $150 cash match from the Foundation to that organization.) Third Generation Members recommend the grants, which are then submitted to the Board of Directors for consideration. Beaird Foundation would have both the responsibility and the authority to recommend grants to be given from the Advised Fund.
