Co-production of carotenoids and oil with yeast culture
1)Culture of oleaginous yeast with food waste hydrolyzed broth
Objective: improve the productivity and lipid accumulation of yeast, cultured from food waste and other organic waste
2)Self-flocculating oleaginous yeast and algae strains screening
Objectives:
  • Improve the culture cell density and shorten the HRT with self-flocculating yeast strains
  • Solve the harvesting problem for autotrophic algae culture in open pond
3)Key lipid synthesis enzyme analysis of the cells cultured under different DO levels, and respiration inhibitor’s effect to lipid accumulation
