Eligibility

Corporate Members / Corporate bodies / Institutions etc
Life Member / Engineering graduate or equivalent with minimum 4 years experience, Diploma engineer with minimum 8 years experience, graduate in any discipline minimum 8 years experience and any other qualification minimum 15 years experience in the field of welding.
Life Associate Member / Engineering graduate or equivalent with less than 4 years experience, Diploma engineer with less than 8 years experience, graduate in any discipline less than 8 years experience and any other qualification minimum 5 years but less than 15 years experience in the field of welding.
Junior Member / Any individual registering to take IWS examination or not meeting above requirements for member and associate member.
Certified Member / Any individual after successful completion of IWS prescribed examination.
Student Member / Any individual who is undergoing the second year of under graduation in any discipline of engineering in a recognised university
