You will be part of a small in-house development team working with a multidisciplinary Digital Delivery Team, which includes designers and delivery officers.

What are the working arrangements?
Generally, on site 5 days per week with flexibility to work off site, from time to time, subject to project requirements
The hours of work are 150 hours per 4 week period, or 7 hours 30 minutes per day
Is security clearance required?
No. However, the successful developer will be asked to complete the AAT's Contractor Confidentiality Agreement.

Essential skills and experience
• A minimum of 5 years software development experience with one or more of the following: Microsoft. NET C# (.NET Framework 3.5 and above), Microsoft SQL Server, JavaScript:
JQuery and other JavaScript based frameworks, HTML / CSS, Object-oriented design principles and platforms, web services
• Demonstrated experience using debugging, unit testing, profiling and analysis tools
• Experience of working in geographically dispersed teams
Nice-to-have skills and experience
• Experience of continuous delivery in an agile environment, particularly in a government context
• Ability to pragmatically change direction and scope as new information is discovered and challenges or opportunities present themselves

We are exploring the market to determine what we developers are available at which price ranges, so there isn't an hourly or daily rate restriction.
However, in line with the requirements, we seeking developers with a minimum of five years experience with their skill level would be representative of their rate.

Ideally as close to the listed date of the 29/09/2017 but yes, we could work around a later date such as 9/10/2017.

The developer is not expected to manage stakeholders however good communication skills will assist with working with other members of the team.

There is both development of existing platforms and development of new platforms. These platforms consist of case management systems, application lodgement systems and other systems supporting application processing. Developers generally are focussed on one or the other depending on resourcing and the fit of the developer with the project.

Providing an improved, simpler experience for our customers, and better aligning processes across the distinct divisions to realise improved efficiency after the amalgamation of three agencies into the AAT.

Working in an agile environment building new solutions and developing existing platforms.
