Legends Ridge Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations

  1. Pool hours are from sunrise to 10:00 PM.After 10:00 PM, minors (under age 18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who is a member in good standing.
  2. In order to gain access to the pool area, you must have your current Membership I.D. Card and key issued by the Legends Ridge Swim Club. All members and guests must sign in with the lifeguard upon arrival. Lifeguards will be provided with a list of members in good standing.
  3. A lifeguard will be on duty Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. On Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Residents and their guests swim at their own risk when the lifeguard is not on duty. The lifeguard shall be treated with respect at all times. Anyone who disrespects or disobeys a lifeguard’s command will be asked to leave the pool property.
  4. Members in good standing are allowed to have a maximum of two (2) guests at any one time. Guests must be accompanied by a member in good standing at all times. Members are responsible for their guests
  5. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian who is a member in good standing.
  6. Swim diapers are mandatory for children who are not toilet trained.
  7. Children using personal flotation devices must be accompanied by an adult and may not be left at the pool unattended.
  8. The Pool Gate must be closed and locked at all times. Do not climb the gate or fence. Do not prop open the gate.
  9. Personal conduct in and around the pool area shall be such that the safety and enjoyment of everyone is not jeopardized. Cursing or foul language is not allowed. Inappropriate public display of affection is not allowed.
  10. The entire pool area is a NO SMOKING zone, which includes cigarettes, cigars, pipes, smokeless tobacco and any illegal drugs. Minors (under age 21) are not permitted to smoke or drink alcohol anywhere on Legends Ridge Swim Club property.
  11. Glass containers or bottles are prohibited. Any food brought into the pool area must be in paper or plastic containers. Leftover food placed in the trash container may attract insects, therefore please take all leftovers with you when you leave the pool area.
  12. No pets are allowed in the pool area. Frisbees, hard balls, skateboards, bikes, rollerblades, roller skates or scooters are not allowed. Acceptable pool toys or paraphernalia will be left to the discretion of the lifeguard.
  13. No diving, flips or somersaults allowed.
  14. In order to protect the filtering equipment swimmers must wear appropriate swim apparel. No cutoffs and or other clothing with frayed edges are allowed.
  15. Please shower before entering pool if you are wearing any non-waterproof sunscreens, lotions or oils.
  16. Nannies and babysitters must be at least 16 years of age. Lifeguards will not be allowed to “babysit” children while on duty.
  17. There will be no screaming, yelling, running, or rough play in the pool area. Radios are permitted, but consideration of others using the pool is expected. The volume should be adjusted so that others are not bothered. Please use headphones on low volume.
  18. Please remember to pick up your newspapers, magazines, beverage containers, suntan oil bottles, etc. and dispose of any non-food trash items when you leave the pool area.
  19. Pool deck furniture is not to be moved outside of the pool enclosure.
  20. Persons damaging club property including trees, shrubbery, furniture, etc. will be held financially responsible and will be denied access to the pool and clubhouse property.
  21. A 15-minute rest period shall be called 15 minutes before every hour. At this time, the lifeguard will not be on duty. Adults may swim at their own risk and children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the water.
