OFFICIAL NOTICE

Pursuant to the direction of the Dubuque County Zoning Board of Adjustment, notice is hereby given to all interested citizens of Dubuque County, Iowa that on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2015 AT 7:00 P.M., at the Emergency Services Training Facility, 14928 Public Safety Way (off Seippel Road) Dubuque, Iowa a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on the following proposals:

1. BA#10-37-15 ERIC BEGLE SPECIAL USE PERMIT

The applicant is requesting a Special Use Permit to replace an existing mobile home on the property with a new 60’ x 30’ home with a 30’ x 30’ attached garage as an additional home on the farm in an A-1, Agricultural zoning district. The property, located along N Bankston Rd approximately 1.46 miles northeast of the city of Bankston, is legally described as S ½ NE ¼ NW ¼ Section 10, (T89N R1W) Iowa Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.

2. BA#10-38-15 ERIC BEGLE VARIANCE

The applicant is requesting a 20’variance to the 50’ required on the right side to build 30’ from the property line to place a new 60’ x 30’ home with a 30’x 30’ attached garage in an A-1, Agricultural zoning district. The property, located along N Bankston Rd approximately 1.46 miles northeast of the city of Bankston, is legally described as S ½ NE ¼ NW ¼ Section 10, (T89N R1W) Iowa Township, Dubuque County, Iowa.

3. BA#10-39-15 TONY & EMILY LECONTE/STEPHEN MCDERMOTT

SPECIAL USE PERMIT

The applicants are requesting a Special Use Permit to build a single family home on a scrub parcel in an A-1, Agricultural zoning district. The property, located along E Pleasant Grove Road approximately 3.29 miles south of the city of Epworth, is legally described as Lot 2 SE ¼ NW ¼ Section 36, (T88N R1W) Taylor Township, Dubuque County Iowa.

4. BA#10-40-15 NICHOLAS & STACY BRIES VARIANCES

The applicants are requesting a 50’front yard variance to the 50’ required to build 0’ from the street line and a 12’ left side variance to the 20’ required to place a 14’ x 33’ addition on the existing home 8’ feet from the property line in an R-2, Single Family Residential zoning district. The property, located along Massey Station Road approximately 4.84 miles southeast of the city of Dubuque, is legally described as Lot 2-2-1-1 N ½ NW ¼ Section 23, (T88N R3E) Mosalem Township, Dubuque County Iowa.
