FULL COURT CONDOLENCE MEETING IN CHIEF JUSTICE’S COURT ON 20.01.2009 AT 3.30 P.M TO MOURN THE SAD DEMISES OF SHRI SANJEEV KUMAR SAXENA AND MOHD. TAHA BIN ISLAM, ADVOCATES OF THIS COURT.

We have assembled here this afternoon to mourn the sad demises of Shri Sanjeev Kumar Saxena and Mohd. Taha Bin Islam, Advocates.
Shri Sanjeev Kumar Saxena was born on 1st of July 1971. After obtaining LL.B. degree, he was enrolled as an Advocate in 2006 in the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh and started practising in this Court. He was conducting cases of civil and criminal side. He was a thorough gentleman and was devoted to the legal profession.
He expired on 22nd December 2008 due to brain hemorrhage.
Mohd. Taha Bin Islam was born on 21st of April 1956. He obtained his LL.B. degree in 1982 from Allahabad University in first class. After obtaining LL.B. degree, he was enrolled as an Advocate in 1983 in the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh and started his practice in this Court under the able guidance of Shri G.N. Verma and Shri M.A. Qadeer, Senior Advocates of this Court. However, with the passage of time, he started his own practice and soon he built up good practice both in the civil and criminal side. In 1989 he was elected as member of the Governing Council of Allahabad High Court Bar Association. He was appointed as Additional Government Advocate in 1989 and in 2004 he was appointed as Standing Counsel. He was a thorough gentleman and was devoted to the legal profession.
He left for heavenly abode on 5th of January 2009 leaving behind his parents, widow and two daughters.
We express our heart-felt condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
We pray to Almighty that He may grant eternal peace to the departed souls and give strength to the members of the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
Let us observe two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed souls.
