"Linda Rider is the Workforce Readiness Director for the Washington State Human Resources Council and a Senior Project Manager for Seattle Jobs Initiative where she manages training program partnerships with local community based organizations, community colleges and employers. She has chaired a multi-stakeholder coalition focused on the need for soft skills in the workforce called the Performance Skills Coalition since 2008. Prior to her work with SJI in 2005, Linda was an organizational development and training consultant and human resources professional in the food production sector. She is a passionate advocate on behalf of the business community and works for better clarity regarding soft skills and for establishing better 'performance' skills training and development strategies."
