Dear Friends of GodWhy;

GodWhy is pleased to announce its 4thannual Breakfast with Santa & Auction, which is the only fundraising event of the year for the Children’s Department. It will be held on Saturday, December 11th, 2010 at GodWhy Church on God Why Court in Hendersonville.

Just imagine if you could help inspire greatness in a child. At GodWhy church, we believeempowering children every week to change their world, one person at a time, one situation at a time, one choice at a time. We use the High Energy curriculum of KidMo to teach the truth of The Bible in a relevant way that reaches kids where they are. We also believe in giving them applicable ways to live out these truths to be able to experience God working in and through them.

The success of this event solely depends upon the generosity of our parishioners, our community and local businesses. You have the power to help; we are counting on you! In the past auction proceeds provided needed operating funds to allow us to maintain the many educational and community outreach programs we are involved in, provided scholarships to camps, helped families’ when they were in need, and purchasedcurriculum for the children. This year the funds will help rebuild our playground that was destroyed during the flood which is open to the community.

It is the donations that cause the excitement and anticipation for the Auction! The morning begins with attendees viewing the many items that have been donated. This themed event includes breakfast, pictures with Santa, silent & live auction, crafts for the children, a Store for the children to purchase gifts for their parents and relatives, a story corner and letter writing to Santa.

Your tax-deductible donation can be in the form of merchandise, gift certificates, cash, and/or business services. Since all attendees will be exposed to your name and donation, your contribution will provide your business with positive point advertising. Please feel free to provide us with your business cards or flyers to be made available with your donation. In addition, the value of your donation is tax deductable. Our Federal Tax ID is 780050320.
