Dress Rehearsal:4:30PM – Chamber Choir arrival
5:15PM – Grade 9 Choir arrival
Concert Begins:7:00pm
DRESS REHEARSAL TIMES!!!!
ALL MUSIC STUDENTS MUST BE ON TIME FOR DRESS REHEARSAL!!! To make the best use of our time and to avoid congestion in certain areas, we will use the following warm up schedule. As we have a small amount of time, plan ahead so that you are on time!
4:30pmChamber Choir arrive and place belongings downstairs
4:45pmChamber ChoirRehearses in Sanctuary
5:15pmGrade 9 Voices arrive and place belongings in gym
5:30pmGrade 9 Voices and Chamber Choirs rehearse The Gift & Irish Blessing in Sanctuary.
After rehearsal, Chamber Choir go to green room gym to practice stage movement and Grade 12 Ensemble.
5:45pmGrade 9 Voices rehearse in Sanctuary
6:30pmDoors Open
ALL participants assemble in gym
6:45 pmAll Choir members move to assigned positions in Sanctuary
CONCERT UNIFORM
Grade 9: Black Dress Pants Black Socks, Black Dress Shoes,
Campbell Music T-Shirt
Senior Women: Dress, Green Scarf, black nylons
low-heeled dress shoes (preferably closed-toe)
Senior Men:Black long-sleeved collared dress shirt, Black dress pants,
Black socks, Black dress shoes
Grey Vest and Black Campbell Music Tie
NO JEANS, CASUAL PANTS, BRACELETS, JEWELLERY, OR RUNNING SHOES!
HAIR MUST BE TIED UP AND AWAY FROM YOUR FACE & CELL PHONES STORED AWAY FROM THE PERFORMANCE AREA.
CONCERT ETIQUETTE
It is very important that all music students be absolutely silent when changing over the groups in the middle of the concert! There is to be no talking during each of the performances, and students are not to leave the Sanctuary during the performances!!
All students are to be in the sanctuary to watch each group perform. Seats will be reserved for each concert group. Grade 9 will sit in front of the choral risers, Chamber Choir, and Junior Winds members will sit at the sides.
ABSOLUTELY NO STUDENTS ARE TO BE OUTSIDE THE SANCTUARY BEFORE OR DURING THE PERFORMANCE!!!
CLEAN-UP RESPONSIBILITIES
All students are responsible for assisting with the cleanup after the concert and returning the following uniform items:
Things to Do:
All Choir risers taken down and out of church
All warm-up areas clean and returned to proper condition.
