03 Nov (Thu)Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival in the Indian capital city of New Delhi, you will be met by our representative at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel for 2 nights stay

Airport Arrival Transfers will be provided for all flights arriving between 10:00am on Thu, 03 Nov – 07:00am on Fri, 04 Nov.

Hotel Check in time: 14:00Hrs onwards

04 Nov (Fri)Day in Delhi (B, L)

Today discover the vibrant city of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi, enjoy a morning tour of Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and an architectural masterpiece of Muslim faith; drive past Red Fort, a splendid fort made of red sandstone which was once the residence of Mughal Emperor Shahjahan.

Continue with the sightseeing tour of New Delhi, driving past India’s seat of power, the President House and Parliament House. Take a short photo stop at India Gate, the famous war memorial arch of India. Then visit the gold domed Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, a live Sikh temple still in active worship. This sacred temple is highly spiritual and the holy water here is believed to have cured many followers of their illness. Then visit Qutab Minar, a fine example of early Muslim and Afghani architecture in India.

05 Nov (Sat)Drive Delhi – Alsisar (240 Kms / 6 Hrs)

After an early breakfast, depart for Alsisar, a quaint village in the heart of Shekhawati region. Alsisar village has some of the finest frescos and painted havelis in the region, and is a perfect place to appreciate the art of bygone era.

On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Spend the afternoon discovering Alsisar and visiting the unique havelis of the region.

06 Nov (Sun)Drive Alsisar – Bikaner (250 Kms / 6 Hrs) (B, L)

After breakfast, embark on a drive to Bikaner popularly referred to as the 'Camel City of Rajasthan'.

Upon arrival in Bikaner, check in to your hotel and freshen up. This afternoon enjoy a horse-cart ride to the old town.

07 Nov (Mon)Day in Bikaner (B, L)

After breakfast enjoy a visit to Junagarh Fort, one of the most imposing forts of northern India, Junagarh Fort has remained unconquered till date.

Also visit Lallgarh Palace, designed by a Britishers for Maharaja Ganga Singh, this palace displays a magnificent blend of oriental and European style.

Enjoy the afternoon at leisure in Bikaner.

08 Nov (Tue) Drive Bikaner - Jodhpur

After breakfast, we drive to Jodhpur, the blue hued city of Rajasthan. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check in to your hotel and freshen up.

This afternoon, enjoy a village jeep safari, to get a feel for the local lifestyle of a Rajasthani village community called ‘Bishnoi’. Bishnoi’s are a village community of Rajasthan who are famous for their cultural Rajasthani lifestyle and their love for nature and animals. Observe the daily lifestyle of villagers, shepherds, farmers and weavers of the region.

09 Nov (Wed)Day in Jodhpur (B, L)

Today, visit the rock-solid 15th century Mehrangarh Fort, and the grand palaces within the fort - Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana, which are impressive examples of architectural excellence. Near the fort complex stands the Jaswant Thada, and a group of royal cenotaphs made of white marble. While in Jodhpur shop for the exquisite handcrafted articles such as embroidered shoes, metal curios, silverware, paintings and tie and dye fabrics.

10 Nov (Thu) Drive Jodhpur to Pushkar

After breakfast, embark on your journey to Pushkar, a land of fairs in the heart of Rajasthan. Famous for the annual cattle and camel fair in November, Pushkar is also one of the holiest cities of India.

This afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Pushkar, mingling with saadhu’s (holy men in their orange attires), visiting the holy Pushkar Lake and the various temples in the region. The most famous is the Brahma Temple, said to be the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma.

11 Nov (Fri)Day at Pushkar Festival (B, L, D)

PUSHKAR FESTIVAL

After breakfast, enjoy your day at the Pushkar fair. Spend the day walking through the traditional decorated fair grounds, viewing (and participating!) in various activities, like folk dance and music, camel races, cattle auctions, village handicraft shops, traditional food eateries and more. This is your time to experience the local lifestyle and mingle with the tribes of the deserts to learn more about life in this part of the world.

12 Nov (Sat) Drive Pushkar to Jaipur

(145 Kms / 03 Hrs) (B, L)

After breakfast, travel overland to Jaipur, the reservoir of Indian customs, traditions and legacy. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in at your hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

This evening visit Birla Mandir, the fascinating white marble temple of Jaipur that is brightly lit up in the evenings, when priests perform the holy ‘aarti’ ceremony at the temple. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan), the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. Due to this reason, Birla Mandir is also known as Laxmi Narayan Temple.

Option for Home Hosted Dinner: This evening you have the option to learn more about local lifestyle and culture of India with dinner at an Indian home. Spend time talking to your hosts and learn about their way of life. You may also opt for a unique opportunity to step inside an Indian kitchen and learn the age old art of Indian culinary delights. Your hosts will be happy to share their secret recipes and give you some handy tips about Indian cooking (at extra charge)

13 Nov (Sun) Day in Jaipur (B, L)

This morning, visit the magnificent Amber Fort - built in the 16th century, this is one of the most beautiful samples of Rajput architecture, housing a complex of palaces and pavilions, gardens and temples. A decorated elephant ride will help you ascend to this hilltop fort (elephants are subject to availability). Alternatively, you could choose to walk or drive up to the fort.

This afternoon, visit Jaipur’s City Palace complex with its various museums where you can see a beautiful collection of Mughal costumes, weapons and miniature paintings. Then visit the fascinating Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory built by the Maharaja of Jaipur, which is the largest stone observatory in the world. Also see Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), built in the 18th century. This palace with its innumerable windows and screened balconies was especially built for the royal women to view the city and street processions from behind their ‘purdahs’ so they remain invisible to the public.

Later explore the many facets of Jaipuri crafts such as semi precious jewels, colourful fabrics, woven carpets etc – watch artisans at work and enjoy souvenir shopping in this colourful city of Jaipur.

Option for Hot Air Balloon Flight & Village Safari: Early morning, you have the option to enjoy a hot air balloon flight over the pink city of Jaipur, giving you the opportunity to float above forts and palaces and village settlements beneath. (at supplement charge).

Option for Elephant Safari with Breakfast / High Tea: Embark on a short drive to Dera Amer for a fascinating elephant safari, followed by a scrumptious breakfast (or Evening High Tea) at Dera Amer (at supplement charge).

14 Nov (Mon) Drive Jaipur – Agra

This afternoon witness the surreal views of Taj Mahal. Step inside this eternal symbol of love and appreciate the intricate designs and symmetries that rhyme as a poem written in marble. Taj Mahal is an extravagant display of love, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Option to watch a classic Theatre Performance: This evening, you have the option to watch a live theatre performance, introducing you to the story of the Taj Mahal. 15 Nov (Tue) Drive Agra to Delhi

(205 Kms / 04 Hrs) Departure(B, L)

This morning visit the splendid Agra fort, built in red sandstone, encapsulating magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and beautiful gardens.

Later visit marble inlay workshops and indulge in exquisite souvenir shopping in the culture and tradition filled city of Agra. Apart from beautiful marble artifacts, Agra is also famous for its exquisite leather work, embroidered fabrics and traditional embroidered ‘jutti’ i.e. flat shoes.

This afternoon embark on your drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the International airport to board your flight back home. Travelite (India) services terminate at Delhi.

If such alternative arrangements incur any extra charge, the same shall be borne by the client. The client will not be entitled to refund for any missed sightseeing resulting out of such events, which are beyond our control.
