The number ofnewly established companies increased by 13,21% in April2018 with respect to previous month.

  • The number of newly established companiesand sole proprietorships increased by 13,21%, and 18,53% while the number of cooperatives decreased by 3,60% according to the previous month.
  • The number of closed companies , sole proprietorshipsand cooperativesdecreased by 21,04% ,, 12,64% and 6,25%respectively according to the previous month.

The number ofnewly established companies increased by 33,10% with respect to the same month of the previous year.

  • The number of newly established companies and cooperatives increased by 33,10%and 13,83% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 13,64% according to the same month of the previous year.
  • The number of closed companies , the number of sole proprietorships and cooperativesdecreased by 21,04%, 2,10% and 42,31%respectivelyaccording to the same month of the previous year.

In April2018, 938 companies with foreign partners were established.

  • In April2018, 938 companies with foreign partners were established. 480 of these companies had Turkish partners, 131 had Syrianpartners, 100 had Saudi Arabic partners.
  • Of the 938 foreign shareholding companies established, 84 are Incorporated companies and 854 are limited liability companies. 513 of these companies conduct wholesale trade for stores in malls that are not allocated to a specific commodity; 264 are in construction of residential or non-residential buildings; 228are in real estate.
  • Foreign capital partners’ capital investments constitute 77.03% of the total capital of foreign joint venture companies.
