Job title: Cleaner

Department: HR – Facilities

Reporting to: Office Services and Facilities Manager

Location: Grantham Head Office

Hours of work: 4.30-6.30pm, Monday – Friday

Contract: 2 Permanent and 1 Fixed Term Maternity Cover

Job Summary

The Facilities Team provide a variety of services in support of the headquarters function at Grantham. The cleaning team maintain a clean and safe environment for our staff to work in.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility
Carry out cleaning duties as set out in our cleaning schedules. Such work to include, but not be limited to;
·  Cleaning toilets and shower rooms
·  Vacuuming
·  Dry dusting
·  Carpet cleaning
·  Mopping hard floors
·  Cleaning tea-points and kitchen areas
·  Loading and unloading dishwashers and washing up by hand where necessary
·  Some high-level cleaning, including working from step-ladders (once ladder training has been given)
Report any equipment, furnishings or fixtures which are noticed as being damaged or faulty during day-to-day work activities.
Have a flexible approach to cleaning tasks and be willing to undertake additional cleaning activities when required.

Minimum Requirements

·  Previous experience of cleaning, preferably in an office environment.

·  Knowledge of cleaning colour coding system.

·  Good communication skills.

·  Attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised after initial training and induction.
