New Business:Healthy School Team – Linda Colvin, Food service manager conducted a team meeting that started at 1:36.
She talked about the purpose of the Healthy School Team is to ensure the school is in compliance with the new Smart Snack in Schooling rule. She also informed the team of the guidelines for having fundraisers using food. The school has a certain nutritional standards that have to be maintained. After she discussed all topics the team meeting adjourned at 1:45.
Discipline Report – Jennifer Gardner presented the report.
She discussed discipline issues, dress code, and explained the difference between teacher notes and Dean referrals.
School Improvement Plan – Brandon Koger presented the plan.
He explained the sections of the plan and reviewed the plan.

School Grade – Victor Lowrimore presented.
He discussed the new FSA comparisons from 2016 to 2017
Classroom size compliance – Victor Lowrimore presented.
He projects the school’s number to continue to grow and explained that SRCSD is waiting for approval to add a new K-8 school. He also explained that Santa Rosa County is a choice district, therefore classroom size is based on school average. (WBMS’s average is 18.9)

LearnSafe – Victor Lowrimore presented.
He explained that it is a program that screenshots certain keywords that are typed and that Brandon Koger and the school monitor system. He continued to explain that it does not monitor any personal devices and teacher computers, even if they are on the school’s Wi-Fi.

October 16th – Planning day, possible storm make-up day
October 19th – WBMS Fall Vendor Showcase, “Fall into Woodlawn”
