Second Grade Supply List
2016-17
Please make sure everything is clearly marked with your child’s name (including pens & pencils).
2 packages of #2 pencils, sharpened- 3 packages (preferred brand- Ticonderoga)
2 light colored highlighters
1 eraser – not art gum or fancy pencil top erasers
2 boxes of 24 count crayons
1 box of markers
1 pack of 2 7/8” X 2 7/8” Post-it Notes or 3” by 3”
1 pair of scissors with points
1 bottle of glue (Elmer’s Glue-All) – no gel – 4 oz.
16 glue sticks (normal size)
1 supply box (8 ½ X 5 ½) – larger sizes do not fit
4 blue or black low odor dry erase markers
2 boxes of facial tissues
Clean sock
1 roll Scotch tape
2 Folders- 1 yellow and 1 blue
1 Folder of your choice for music
1 Black Sharpie marker
Boys: 1 box of zip-loc sandwich size bags and 1 pack or container of disinfectant wipes (Lysol or Clorox wipes)
Girls: 1 box of zip-loc gallon size bags and 1 pack or container of unscented baby wipes or wet ones
Must have: One set of durable earphones for use with the iPads. No earbuds. Please keep in mind that inexpensive earphone connectors break easily and often cause damage to the iPads. This damage will result in a $25.00 iPad Repair charge and assessed to the student. If replacement is needed during the year, we will inform you.
One complete change of clothing in case of bathroom accidents or rainy weather, please place in a clear Ziploc bag with child’s name clearly marked. Students need pants, shirt, underwear, and socks.
Please note: There will be additional supplies needed in the fall based on individual teacher needs.
