2016-2017 Season Coaching Application

Coaching Application for 2016-2017 Season

Head Coaches for the AA teams at each level are recruited/selected by the Hockey Development Committee and approved by the Board of Directors in order to be announced during the summer in preparation for the upcoming season.

If you are interested in being considered for a head coach OR an assistant coach with

Bloomington Youth Hockey, Inc. during the 2016-2017 season, please complete

the following application and email your completed application to

All applications must be received no later than

11:59 pm CT on SaturdayApril 30, 2016 to be considered

It is mandatory that all coaches be USA Hockey certified. The coaching requirements for each age bracket and competitive level are listed below.

Coach / Requirements
Mite / Level I
Squirt / Level I & Level II
Peewee/Bantam / Level I, Level II & Level III
Midget / Level I, Level II, Level III & Level IV

We will try to notify you of upcoming coaching classes in the area as they become available. However, it is every applicant’s responsibility to secure the proper accreditation through USA Hockey.

DISCLOSURE STATEMENT: USA Hockey mandates that every coach, team manager and board member permit a background check. This is a common practice in many other youth organizations and has been adopted by USA Hockey. Disclosure statements are attached.
