COMMENTS FROM PARTICIPANTS

“We came to Retrouvaille thinking nothing would work, but it was the first time we really faced our problem as a couple and began to work on our marriage together. We have been given another chance as well as a deeper and clearer insight into human love.”

“Retrouvaille hasn’t eliminated our problems or concerns, but has given us tools to work with. It has given us a better understanding of each other and the maturity to talk things out instead of just fighting.”

“Just discovering how others had shared our road of pain and made it back gave us courage not to give up.”

“Our weekend provided s the time and direction to talk about the feelings we were burying and began to heal some hurts.”

“I attended Retrouvaille hoping my spouse would see the light and stop being such a burden. She saw the light, but I was blinded by it. Retrouvaille has illuminated our marriage.”

WHAT WILL IT COST?

No couple is ever denied the chance to heal and renew their marriage because they face financial difficulties. This concern should NOT influence your decision to come to Retrouvaille.

On the weekend, you will be asked to make an anonymous donation to help lighten our expenses. This donation covers the expenses of the weekend and follow-up sessions.

A small non-refundable fee is requested when you register for the program to confirm yourfood and lodging.

RETROUVAILLE

The weekend is only the first phase of the RETROUVAILLE program. POST (Follow-up) sessions have been designed to continue the marriage renewal begun on the weekend. These sessions review earlier concepts in greater depth, present new ones, and help you to apply these concepts to your own marriage.

What happens in a RETROUVAILLE Program? During the weekend phase, a series of in-depth presentations are given by a team of three couples and a priest.

RETROUVAILLE presents techniques of communication that enable a couple to take a good look at most areas of their relationship.

RETROUVAILLE focuses on key problem areas in marital relationships.

RETROUVAILLE provides ways for couples to place and keep their individual, marital, and spiritual needs in balance. It gives you the opportunity to examine your lives together in a new and positive way.

NOTE: You will NOT be asked to share your problems with anyone else. However, you will be encouraged to put the past behind you and start “REDISCOVERING” one another.
