·  No alcohol, pets, smoking, or loud music.

·  Someone from your party must be here to greet & direct vendors when necessary.

·  The Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead are not responsible for chairs, tables. Items, etc. left here after hours.

·  If your event is affected by weather, a partial or full refund will be given.

·  Photographs are not permitted in the historic area until 4pm.

·  If a substantial amount of trash is created, it must be removed to the onsite dumpster.

·  All facility rentals require $100 security deposit to assure accordance with rules & regulations.

About the Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead

The Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead (FDBH) is a 501(c)(3) organization comprised of volunteers. The FDBH jointly manage the Daniel Boone Homestead (DBH) with the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission (PHMC). The FDBH took over this management role in 2010 and currently run the site’s daily historic operations.

The mission of the FDBH is to interpret the life of Daniel Boone; the experiences of the Maugridge and DeTurk families’; and the settlement, development, and culture of the Oley Valley in the eighteenth and early nineteenth century and to provide recreational and educational opportunities to Pennsylvania and its visitors.

The Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead offer a variety of facility rental options for your next upcoming event. The following facilities are available to rent:

South Picnic Area

North Picnic Area

Picnic Grove

Wayside Lodge

Waterfall Knoll

South Picnic/Tenting Area

The South Tenting Area is located near the front of the property. The pavilions sit down by the lake, with parking lots on top of the hill.

Area Includes

2 picnic pavilions, picnic tables & benches, pit toilets, charcoal grills, outdoor fire pit, water pump (March-October)

Capacity

Pavilion 1: 6 tables

Pavilion 2: 6 tables

Up to 70-90 people total

Cost

During operational hours (10am-5pm): $15/hour

5-9pm: $30/hour

North Picnic/Tenting Area

The North Tenting Area is located near the back of the property in a moderately wooded area. Parking lots are located close to the pavilions.

2 picnic pavilions, picnic tables & benches, pit toilets, charcoal grills, outdoor fire pit, water pump

Pavilion 1: 5 tables

Pavilion 2: 8 tables

Up to 75-100 people total

During operational hours (10am-5pm): $15/hour

Picnic Grove

Includes

Charcoal grills, picnic tables & benches, Craft Shed Building, limited access to visitor center restrooms

Wayside Lodge

Kitchen, indoor restroom, fireplace, minimal electric heat, wooden tables & benches, outdoor fire pit, firewood (indoor use only), electricity
