Welcome to our December newsletter,
Our juniors day was again a big success although the fish mostly decided to stay in Johnno’s Dam, all the kids seemed to enjoy themselves and the raffle with every one a winner was a big success, thanks to every body who chased up donation’s for the raffle and also a very big thank you to Sue, Johnno and the girls for allowing us to use their property for this very popular comp.
Our Christmas break up and party was again a great success and was very well attended, many thanks to Leanne , Simon and family for allowing us to use their property again this year for the break up, also thanks to every body who helped set up on the Saturday, thanks to those who cooked the meal and the wives who prepared some great salads. Last but not least thank you goes to Santa for turning up on the day, we really have got the best Santa, even if he did make me sit on his knee.
Thats it guys, I have been all “thank you’d” out.
November/ December report
Those who have been bothering to go out on the “Pond” have really been getting into the Reds with best reports coming from between Frankston and Carrum at around the 18-20 metre mark, Silver Whiting seems to be the most productive bait
Top End Trip
All those interested! Don’t forget the trip up north for next October, if you want more info contact Craig Gambetta (Trimma) on 0417357724 or Glenn McGill on 0408108039, apparently last weeks meeting about this trip was forgotten by all but Barras.
If any body ended up with a spare fold-up chair bag after the Christmas break up, it’s mine, so if you have got it can you please let me know on 0418976759

TONY’S TRASH
Looks like the juniors in the club are really starting to show the dads up, first it was ex member Dean McGill at Bemm showing up Barras, now its young Max Moulday showing Moulds how to catch Trout and it looks like Wade Gambetta and Mitch McGill are starting to become Snapper experts, lets also not forget Luke Jackson who is always showing Jacko how to catch the big Whiting, the future looks good guys.
