Girls Incorporated of Greater Atlanta inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through teaching girls to manage money, deal with peer pressure, critically examine the media, and develop a love of science and math. These programs equip girls to navigate gender, economic and social barriers allowing them to break the cycle of poverty, achieve academic success and become healthy, educated and independent adults.

Four-Woman Scramble –Each woman hits a drive. The team selects the best drive and each team member hits a second shot from that ball. This continues until the ball is hit into the hole.

WOMEN’S BEGINNER GOLF CLINIC: April 25, 2017

The clinic will be conducted by local area PGA teaching professionals. The 4-hour clinic will cover all the basics—including grip, stance, set-up, etiquette, irons, woods, chipping and putting. There will be contests and prizes awarded to clinic participants. Golf clubs will be provided or you can bring your own.

VOLUNTEER CADDIES

Men aren’t excluded!We are asking for volunteer caddies (one per team) for each of the four-woman scramble team. Caddies will keep the official score and assist the teams in choosing the best ball, locating lost balls, finding yardage and assisting in the pace of play. Special caddies will be “auctioned off” at the Caddie Auction & Receptionevent the week before the tournament. Special contests for Caddies.

We will host our eighth auction prior to the tournament.Cocktails and heavy hors d’ oeuvres will be served. We will auction off packages including items such as vacation homes, airline tickets, restaurant and spa certificates, as well as caddies who will be available to caddie for your foursome at the Women’s Golf Classic.
