Transform” / PSF provides 5452 sq. ft. of space at St. Francis Health Center, 825 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, for operation of a Family Medical Clinic. PSF provides free rent, utilities, maintenance and housekeeping. / SET provides low or no cost medical services and holistic health programs to uninsured, underinsured, and low income people without discrimination.
SET administrative offices also at this location. / SET clinic moved to St. Francis in 2004. They offer basic, affordable care for minor illnesses. Volunteer doctors, physician assistants and nurses make up the professional staff at evening clinics three nights a week. School, daycare and Head Start physicals also available.
K.I.N.D.
(“Kids In Need of Dentistry”) / PSF provides 1104 sq. ft. of space at St. Francis Health Center, 825 E. Pikes Peak Avenue. PSF provides free rent, utilities, maintenance, housekeeping. / Non-profit children’s charity providing low-cost dental services for children 2-17 years old who have neither insurance nor Medicaid eligibility. / KIND clinic at SFHC opened in 2003. Volunteer dentists and hygienists provide comprehensive, quality treatment to about 500 clients per year.
DBSA:
(“Depression & Bipolar Support Alliance,” a national network) / PSF provides 662 sq. ft. of space at St. Francis Health Center, 825 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, plus the use of three other meeting rooms for support groups.
PSF provides free rent, utilities, maintenance and housekeeping. / DBSA is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit chapter of a national association. Serves patients and families of chronically mentally ill. Free self-help for people with mood disorders, as well as ongoing educational programs throughout the year. Approx 1600 clients annually, with contact via walk-in, email, crisis phone line, newsletter, and weekly support groups. / ResourceCenter located on third floor of SFHC 29 Building since April 2001. DBSA volunteers also visit patients at the Psychiatric Inpatient (3-East) at St. Francis to lead support groups and share resources with patients who suffer from major depression and bipolar disorders (1-3X/week).
Franciscan Community Counseling, an agency of Mount St. Francis Convent / PSF provides 1122 sq. ft. of space at St. Francis Health Center, 825 E. Pikes Peak Avenue.
PSF provides free rent, utilities, maintenance and housekeeping. / Provides psychotherapy on a sliding scale basis for uninsured/underinsured clients in El PasoCounty. Approx. 2900 clients annually. / Staffed by licensed therapists, and 2-3 interns. Located at SFHC ’29 Building, 3rd Floor.

“Them Bones” Veterans’ Community Project / PSF provides 300 sq. ft. of space at St. Francis Health Center, 825 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, Rm. 332.
PSF provides free rent, utilities, maintenance and housekeeping. / Focused on helping dishonorably discharged veterans and their families through support groups and community outreach. / Sponsored by Catholic Health Initiatives and staffed by Sisters of Charity and Sisters of St. Francis. Originally started in Cincinnati, OH.
The DyslexiaCenter / PSF provides 1635. ft. of space at St. Francis Health Center, 825 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, Rm. 332. PSF provides free rent, utilities, maintenance and housekeeping. / The first comprehensive reading center f its kind in Colorado, provides evaluation and remediation for children, as well as teacher training and professional development in conjunction with UCCS Dept. of Psychology. / Operates on grant funding, provided in part by PSF Foundation. Opened at SFHC in June 2007. Staffed by Lynne Fitzhugh, Ph.D.
